Hello!
Welcome back yet again to the DVHS Underwater Robotics website,
These past few weeks have been both exciting and annoying.
First, We got our camera from Blue Robotics
It worked well by itself, however when we placed it on the mount, it stopped working and began overheating. Thankfully the very helpful people at Blue Robotics jumped on the problem and are sending us a replacement.
Secondly, our claw is coming along nicely
Since last time we have attached a waterproof servo motor in order to open and close the claw itself. We also are currently working on a mount to attach it to the ROV.
Third, our code has been taking forever with the 8 motors instead of 4. What has been the main challenge is finding space on the joystick for all 8
Lastly, We finished the body
The original body is the larger one. Surprisingly, YES this new body does fit all 8 motors in it.
